Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, build, test, and maintain Epic Willow applications.
  • Gather and analyze pharmacy workflow requirements.
  • Support medication management, prescription processing, and dispensing workflows.
  • Participate in Epic implementation, upgrade, and optimization initiatives.
  • Perform system configuration, integrated testing, and validation activities.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and support incident resolution.
  • Develop solution documentation, workflows, and build specifications.
  • Coordinate with Epic Bridges, interfaces, reporting, and technical teams.
  • Conduct end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Provide production support and participate in on-call support activities.

Mandatory Skills

  • Active Epic Willow Certification (Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory).
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and medication management workflows.
  • Experience with Epic build, configuration, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Knowledge of medication ordering, verification, dispensing, and administration processes.
  • Experience supporting healthcare provider organizations.
  • Understanding of healthcare interoperability standards including HL7.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
