Senior Technical Lead

Job Summary

USAA is looking for a strong Scrum master/DPO who can handle multiple Data Science and ML programs under these four or more directors

Key Responsibilities

Keep up with the team members and allocations for TIA.
Provide budget updates to understand when there may be problems coming
Make updates, as directed by Product Owner for Clarity Staff changes
Schedule/Lead Team Syncs
Schedule/Lead Team Demos
Remind Teams of any EPMO guidelines
Make suggestions on how to improve team performance, habits, actions
Prepare team for PI Planning by supporting Feature Readiness
Provide Staffing Plan to build out Epics formatted according to the PCA instructions/spreadsheet to ensure correct loading
Maintain the PM Tool for assigned Epics
Analyze and document metrics after each Sprint, bring the results to the team/PO
Assist with tracking Key Accomplishments, Upcoming Activities, WAR reporting items.

Skill Requirements

Strong knowledge and experience in Agile scrum methodologies and handling daily scrum meeting

Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of strategic digital and customer/member-focused projects

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
