Job Summary

SAP BTP Joule, Agentic AI & MCP Consultant Enterprise AI, Agent Orchestration and Secure Tool Integration Experience 7 to 9 years of relevant industry experience Employment Level Consultant / Senior Consultant Primary Focus SAP BTP, SAP Joule, Agentic AI, RAG and MCP Server Implementation Location / Work Model As per project requirement 1. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Joule, Agentic AI and MCP Consultant to design and deploy secure enterprise AI solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform. The candidate will build Joule-enabled experiences, AI agents, RAG solutions and Model Context Protocol servers that connect approved enterprise data, tools, APIs and business processes across SAP and non-SAP systems. 2. Experience Requirements · Minimum 4 years of relevant industry experience in SAP BTP, enterprise application development or AI-enabled solution delivery. · Hands-on implementation experience in Generative AI or Agentic AI, preferably within the SAP ecosystem. · Practical experience developing or integrating MCP servers and MCP clients for enterprise AI use cases. · Experience delivering at least one end-to-end Joule, Agentic AI, RAG or MCP-enabled implementation through development, testing and deployment. · Experience collaborating with business, architecture, data, security and integration teams in Agile delivery environments. 3. Key Responsibilities 3.1 SAP Joule and Generative AI · Design and implement SAP Joule-powered business scenarios and conversational experiences. · Develop Joule extensions, skills or integrations that connect enterprise data and business processes. · Use SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad and SAP Generative AI Hub for model access, orchestration, deployment and monitoring. · Apply prompt engineering, grounding, context enrichment and output-validation techniques. · Integrate AI experiences with SAP Fiori applications, SAP Build Work Zone and SAP business services. · Apply Responsible AI, privacy, security and governance controls. 3.2 Agentic AI Implementation · Design AI agents capable of planning, reasoning, tool invocation, task execution and workflow orchestration. · Develop single-agent or multi-agent architectures for complex business processes. · Implement RAG using enterprise documents, structured data, knowledge repositories, semantic search and vector databases. · Integrate agents with SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, SAP Datasphere, SAP HANA Cloud and non-SAP applications. · Implement memory, context management, tool selection, error handling, observability and lifecycle monitoring. · Implement Human-in-the-Loop approval and exception-handling controls for high-impact actions. · Ensure agent actions remain within defined permissions, business rules and audit boundaries. 3.3 MCP Server Implementation · Design, develop, test and deploy MCP servers that securely expose tools, resources, prompts, APIs, databases and business functions to AI agents. · Create custom MCP tools for SAP CAP services, OData services, REST APIs, SAP HANA Cloud queries and SAP business operations. · Implement MCP clients, capability discovery, tool registration, schema definition, input validation and structured responses. · Configure OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSO, service credentials, API gateways and least-privilege authorization. · Implement controlled context propagation, tenant isolation, secrets management, audit logging, throttling and error handling. · Integrate MCP-enabled agents with SAP Joule, orchestration frameworks and approved enterprise AI platforms. · Monitor MCP availability, performance, tool-execution outcomes and security events. 3.4 SAP BTP Foundation, DevOps and Quality · Develop supporting services using SAP CAP, Node.js or Python, CDS, OData and REST APIs. · Use SAP HANA Cloud, Destination, Connectivity, XSUAA, SAP Build Work Zone and Business Application Studio. · Perform unit, integration, security and end-to-end testing of AI-
