Job Summary

Job Description: WalkMe Developer
Role Type: WalkMe Developer – Digital Adoption & End-User Enablement
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced WalkMe Developer to design, build, and maintain digital adoption solutions that support enterprise application rollouts and end-user enablement programs. The role will focus on creating in-application guidance—that help users navigate complex workflows within platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, and other enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with the WalkMe platform, a solid understanding of front-end web technologies, and the ability to collaborate closely with functional, OCM, and training teams to deliver intuitive, context-aware digital guidance.
Key Objectives
●Design and deploy WalkMe-based digital adoption solutions that reduce time-to-competency and support change adoption across enterprise application rollouts.
●Build role-specific, process-aligned in-app guidance that meets users where they are and reduces dependency on formal training for routine tasks.
●Collaborate with training, OCM, and functional teams to ensure WalkMe content complements broader learning and enablement strategies.
●Monitor usage analytics and iterate on content to improve completion rates, reduce errors, and enhance the overall user experience.
●Maintain a scalable, governed library of WalkMe assets that can be reused, updated, and extended across deployment waves and geographies.
Key Responsibilities
●Work with Training Leads, OCM Consultants, Functional Consultants, Business SMEs, and client stakeholders to gather requirements for in-application guidance and digital adoption content.
●Design and develop WalkMe content tailored to specific user roles, business processes, and application workflows.
●Deliver role-appropriate and context-sensitive content to the right user groups.
●Integrate WalkMe with enterprise platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, Microsoft 365, or other web-based applications supported by the program.
●Build and publish self-help menus, resource centers, and in-app knowledge repositories to reduce support ticket volumes and reinforce learning.
●Analyse WalkMe Insights dashboards and usage reports to identify drop-off points, low-completion steps, and opportunities for content improvement.
●Maintain version control, content naming conventions, folder structures, and documentation standards across the WalkMe console.
●Support Train-the-Trainer sessions, SME walkthroughs, and stakeholder demos to validate WalkMe.
●Coordinate with global teams for localization, language configuration, and region-specific customization of WalkMe assets.
●Provide post-go-live support, content updates, and enhancements based on user feedback, process changes, and system updates.
Knowledge and Experience Required
●Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Instructional Technology, or a related field. WalkMe certification (e.g., WalkMe Builder Certification) is strongly preferred.
●5 to 8 years of hands-on experience developing digital adoption content using various platforms like SAP Enable Now and WalkMe, with a proven track record of enterprise-scale deployments.
●Proficiency with WalkMe Builder, SAP EnableNow, Articulate Storyline
●Experience integrating WalkMe with enterprise applications such as SAP (Fiori/Web GUI), Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, or Microsoft Dynamics.
●Familiarity with WalkMe Insights, Analytics, and Data Collection features for measuring adoption, tracking step completion, and generating usage reports.
●Understanding of digital adoption principles, user experience design, and change management concepts as they relate to enterprise software rollouts.
●Experience working on large-scale transformation programs with multiple stakeholder groups, offshore delivery models, and phased deployment timelines.
