Job Summary

An SAP Ariba Contracts Consultant or Specialist designs, configures, and supports the SAP Ariba Contracts module. They manage the digital contract lifecycle, build contract workspaces, set up approval workflows, and connect upstream procurement with external ERP systems like SAP S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities

Process Design: Set up contract lifecycle stages, including creation, negotiation, execution, and storage.

System Configuration: Build contract templates, clause libraries, user permissions, and approval workflows.

Integration: Connect Ariba Contracts with Ariba Sourcing, Buying/Invoicing, and ERP systems (ECC or S/4HANA) via CIG.

Collaboration & Training: Lead client workshops, train end-users, and work with legal and finance teams.

Support & Compliance: Troubleshoot system issues, monitor contract compliance, and generate reporting dashboards.

Skill Requirements

Experience: 5 to 9+ years in SAP procurement with focused expertise in Ariba Upstream, specifically Sourcing and Contracts.

Functional Knowledge: Strong grasp of Source-to-Contract (S2C) and Contract Workspace (CW) lifecycles.

Technical Skills: Ability to configure templates, condition-based rules, and integrations with external systems.

Soft Skills: Clear communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
