Job Summary

SAP BTP Developer - 
RAP / CAP / Joule / Build Apps / Build Process Automation / LangChain/LangGraph Agents

Build and extend enterprise applications on SAP Business Technology Platform, combining backend service development (RAP/CAP) with SAP's AI and automation stack (Joule, Build Apps, Build Process Automation) and custom agentic workflows.

Key Responsibilities

•    Design and develop OData services and business applications using RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) and CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)
•    Build low-code/pro-code apps using SAP Build Apps
•    Automate business processes with SAP Build Process Automation (workflows, bots, decision tables)
•    Configure and extend Joule (SAP's generative AI copilot), including custom Joule skills and agent capabilities
•    Design, build, and deploy custom AI agents using LangChain/LangGraph, integrating with SAP BTP services and external LLMs
•    Integrate BTP services (Destination, Connectivity, Event Mesh, HANA Cloud) with custom-built agents and automations
•    Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
•    Ensure secure, scalable deployment via CI/CD pipelines on BTP (Cloud Foundry/Kyma)

Skill Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with RAP and CAP (Node.js or Java)
  • Proficiency in SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Process Automation, and Joule customization/skill-building
  • Experience developing agentic AI workflows with LangChain and LangGraph
  • Solid grounding in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python, REST/OData APIs, and BTP service integration
  • Familiarity with SAP HANA Cloud, UI5/Fiori Elements, and BTP security concepts (XSUAA, roles)

•    SAP BTP or CAP/RAP certification
•    Prior experience with SAP AI Core/AI Launchpad
•    Exposure to vector databases and RAG pipelines
