Senior Technical Lead
Durham, North Carolina

Job Summary

Experience in networking, systems software, and virtualization.

Strong knowledge of Linux internals, system boot, systemd, networking, and performance troubleshooting.

Hands-on experience with KVM, QEMU, libvirt, virtual networking, and virtual NICs.

Solid understanding of networking technologies, including:- IPv4

- NICS, Linux bridges, bonding, VLAN and routing

- DHCP, DNS, and firewalling

- SR-IOV, PCI passthrough, DPDK, and Open vSwitch (OVS)

 

Proficiency in Python and shell scripting.

Familiarity with REST/RESTCONF APIs, NETCONF/YANG

Experience managing Linux services, RPM-based distributions and Packaging.

Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues using logs, core dumps, packet captures, traces

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
