Job Summary

Job Summary
The Onshore Epic OpTime & Anesthesia Senior Analyst / Lead serves as the principal technical subject matter expert (SME) and operational liaison for perioperative and surgical services applications. Stationed onshore, this individual leads system design, clinical documentation build, operating room (OR) scheduling, intraoperative anesthesia workflows, and surgical charge capture. They work closely with surgical chairs, chief anesthesiologists, perioperative directors, materials management, and offshore configuration teams to deliver streamlined, compliant, and high-efficiency surgical IT workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Client Alignment & Clinical Leadership
Serve as the primary onshore technical liaison for Perioperative Services Leadership, Chief of Surgery, Anesthesia Department Heads, OR Nurse Managers, and Surgical Scheduling Directors.
Lead workflow design, clinical advisory sessions, and process standardization across main ORs, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), and procedure rooms.
Translate complex surgical practices, anesthesia recording standards, and surgical charge methodologies into functional Epic system specifications.
System Design, Build & Integration
Design, build, test, and maintain Epic OpTime (Operating Room) and Epic Anesthesia modules.
Build and configure pre-op/post-op clinical flowsheets, intraoperative surgical logs, anesthesia records, preference cards, smartforms, navigators, and intraoperative device integration (monitors, gas machines).
Oversee surgical scheduling configuration, block management, OR room setup, staff assignment rules, and preference card maintenance workflows.
Manage surgical charge capture build, implant logs, tissue tracking, supply usage tracking, and integration with Materials Management / Inventory systems (e.g., Lawson, PeopleSoft).
Direct integration with cross-module workflows, including ClinDoc, ASAP (ED), Stork (OB), Willow Inpatient, Radiant, and Resolute HB (Facility Billing).Job Summary

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
