Job Summary The Onshore Epic Radiant Senior Analyst / Lead acts as the primary technical subject matter expert (SME) and operational liaison for enterprise radiology and medical imaging IT initiatives. Stationed onshore, this individual leads system design, workflow optimization, radiology scheduling, technologist documentation, radiologist reading workflows, and charge capture. They work directly with Radiology Chairs, Imaging Center Directors, PACS/RIS Administrators, DICOM/HL7 Interface Engineers, and offshore build teams to ensure efficient, high-volume imaging care delivery. Key Responsibilities Client Alignment & Operational Leadership Serve as the primary onshore technical liaison for Radiology Department Leadership, Medical Directors, Chief Radiologists, and Imaging Operations Managers. Lead workflow design, clinical advisory sessions, and process standardization across hospital radiology departments, outpatient imaging centers, and breast centers. Translate complex imaging protocols, radiologist reading preferences, and state/federal regulatory guidelines into Epic system configurations. System Design, Build & Integration Design, build, test, and maintain Epic Radiant (Radiology Information System / RIS) and Epic Radiant Mammography modules. Build and configure technologist navigators, flowsheets, status boards, order-entry rules, exam documentation templates, protocolling workflows, and critical result notification pathways. Configure Mammography tracking (Bi-RADS scoring, lay letters, follow-up tracking) and dose monitoring compliance workflows. Oversee radiologist reading workflows, including reading worklist rules, integration with Speech Recognition platforms (e.g., Nuance PowerScribe), and image distribution integration. Coordinate complex technical integrations via DICOM/HL7 interfaces with PACS, VNA, Modality Worklists (MWL), radiation dose tracking systems, and third-party AI image analysis tools.
