Job Summary

Technical Analyst Lab

 

Purpose of the role

Global Animal Health Manufacturing IT Boxmeer delivers IT, laboratory and automation solutions to the manufacturing sites Boxmeer and De Bilt. This encompasses a wide range of laboratory technologies, including LIMS, ELN, lab instruments and supporting IT applications, all aligned to a goal of ensuring frictionless flow of data and more efficient business operations

 

You will work closely in a team with a Business Analyst, Project Lead, business SME and Quality Assurance Officer to develop, implement and deliver IT and lab systems across Quality and Centers of Excellence at the sites Boxmeer and De Bilt. You will be the Technical implementation Subject Matter Expert (SME) on lab systems in our project teams. You will be able to make impact by participating in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis to ensure that our lab systems operate with minimal downtime. You will report to the Business Technology Partner for the Lab domain that is ultimately responsible for all projects.

 

 

Primary activities

· Architect and develop lab solutions and manage the technical deployment in collaboration with external suppliers based on internal and external standards.

· Build exceptional relationships with stakeholders which are focused on meeting the business needs.

· Ensure that the solutions are aligned with AHIT platforms and support MSD AH/MMD strategy.

· Ensure a common way of working and standardization of solutions across all lab areas.

· Applying standard systems life cycle and other IT processes/methods, practices and techniques to deliver process integration solutions.

· Contribute to enhancing our procedures and protocols

· Change management and CMDB registrations

· Investigations of lab incidents and problems to prevent recurrence including the development and implementation of corrective actions (root cause analysis).

· Evaluate lab systems and develop strategies to optimize and ensure the quality and stability of lab systems through future expansion, replacement or upgrade.

· On-floor support of it related lab activities.

· Maintain oversight of multiple projects schedules with lab teams and keep an updated status and task overview in our project management tools.

· Ensure and promote collaboration with other IT divisions as well as parts of our manufacturing network, both locally and globally, to break-down organizational boundaries in favour of a highly collaborative and customer-centric culture.

 

Your profile

· Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience.

· Microsoft certifications at MCSA/MCSE level

· Understanding of ITIL

· Proficient with MS Office 365

· Initiative rich and able to work independently.

· A team player who places great emphasis on collective achievements and team diversity.

· Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written in English and preferable in Dutch.

· At least 2 years’ experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, such as pharma, biotechnology, food or chemicals.

· Understanding of GxP regulated environment and validation requirements.

· Currently living near the site in Boxmeer, Netherlands. Relocation support is not offered
