Job Summary

The Technical Lead will design, develop, and maintain Python-based automation and application solutions for Intel’s Product Genealogy program. The role owns end-to-end delivery of assigned features — from requirement understanding and design through development, testing, and production support — while working closely with Intel stakeholders and cross-functional HCLTech team members in an Agile environment. The candidate is expected to demonstrate strong ownership, proactive communication, and the ability to mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications and automation solutions supporting the Product Genealogy platform.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices to enable seamless data ingestion, validation, and transformation across systems.
• Own assigned user stories and deliverables end-to-end, ensuring quality, timeliness, and full traceability in JIRA.
• Collaborate directly with Intel stakeholders during development, clarifying requirements and closing dependencies proactively.
• Participate actively in all Agile ceremonies – Daily Stand-ups (DSU), Sprint Planning, Reviews/Demos, and Retrospectives.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, automated test frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain clear technical documentation for features, workflows, and knowledge transfer.
• Provide coverage, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to junior and buffer team members to ensure delivery continuity.
• Support production/monitoring requirements and troubleshoot issues to maintain platform stability and compliance.

Skill Requirements

• Strong hands-on Python development (backend and automation).
• RESTful API design and integration; experience with Django, Flask, and/or Fast API.
• Database design and querying with MySQL / SQL.
• Containerization and deployment using Docker.
• Automated testing (Py Test / Unit Test) and CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence in an Agile/Scrum delivery model.
• Strong ownership, self-organization, and clear stakeholder communication.

Other Requirements

• Cloud deployment experience (AWS / Cloud Foundry / Azure).
• Data visualization / reporting (Power BI) and observability tooling.
• Experience with monitoring, compliance, or manufacturing/product data domains.
• Scrum certification (e.g., PSPO) or equivalent Agile credentials.

• Takes full ownership of deliverables with minimal supervision.
• Proactively connects with customer teams to avoid gaps and rework.
• Maintains proper documentation and follows disciplined ways of working.
• Willingness to mentor peers and shadow senior architects to grow into a lead role.
