Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT: 

 

Seeking an experienced Plan to Manufacture (PTM) Subject Matter Expert with strong expertise in Oracle Fusion SCM, focusing on Manufacturing Planning, Inventory Management, and Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM).

The ideal candidate will bring deep Oracle Applications knowledge and hands-on experience translating manufacturing business processes into scalable, best‑practice solutions within a cloud/SaaS ERP environment.

This role partners with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams to deliver robust Oracle SCM solutions across planning and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: 

 

  • Lead and support end to end PTM processes using Oracle Fusion SCM:
    • Demand Management, MPS, MRP, and Supply Planning
    • Work Definition, Work Execution, and Capacity Planning
    • Inventory Management, Subinventory, Locators, and Costing integration
  • Drive solution design across Inventory, Planning, and Manufacturing modules, ensuring seamless integration
  • Act as SME for Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM), including:
    • Process manufacturing setups
    • Recipes, formulas, routings, and resources
    • Batch manufacturing and OPM inventory integration
  • Provide guidance on OPM best practices for process-based industries
  • Leverage strong knowledge of:
    • Oracle Fusion SCM modules
    • Oracle E‑Business Suite (11i / R12) manufacturing and inventory modules
  • Support customers transitioning from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion
  • Understand data models, setups, configurations, and integrations within Oracle Applications
  • Conduct requirement gathering, fit‑gap analysis, and solution design workshops
  • Translate business requirements into Oracle Fusion functional designs
  • Review functional setups, configuration documents, and testing scenarios
  • Support SIT, UAT, and Go‑Live activities

  • Oracle Applications (EBS R12/11i) knowledge is mandatory
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion data migration and EBS coexistence is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively.

 

 

Experience:

 

  • 8+ years of functional experience in Oracle SCM / Manufacturing
  • Hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion SCM implementations
  • Strong background in Inventory, Manufacturing Planning, and OPM

 

 

Education:

 

Required

  • Bachelor’s in information technology, computer science or related field
