Job Summary
The SAC Report Developer builds, tests and maintains SAP Analytics Cloud stories and dashboards to the standards set by the Reporting SME. Each developer is responsible for delivering approximately 30 reports in the programme scope.
Key Responsibilities
• Build SAC stories and dashboards from approved designs, connecting to Datasphere models.
• Should have sound knowledge of Live Data, Import data models and be able to create calculations within the story and the models where appliable.
• Should have sound knowledge of various capabilities within SAC for building the story like Merge Dimension, Jump Functionality, Various charts and objects, Filters etc.
• Configure charts, tables, filters, input controls, calculations and navigation for each report.
• Perform unit testing and data validation against source and legacy reports.
• Fix defects raised in SIT/UAT and apply change requests within agreed timelines.
• Optimise report performance and follow the design and naming standards.
• Document reports and support user training and hypercare.
Skill Requirements
5+ years of relevant experience
• Hands-on development in SAP Analytics Cloud (stories, models and calculations).
• Working knowledge of SQL and data modelling concepts.
• Attention to detail in data validation and visual design.
• Good communication and teamwork in an offshore delivery team.
