Senior Technical Lead

Job Summary

experience in Platform Engineering, GitHub Platform Engineering, Developer Experience (DevEx), Internal Developer Platforms (IDP), and Cross plane-based self-service provisioning. Responsible for building platform automation capabilities, standardizing developer onboarding, implementing reusable CI/CD workflows, repository governance controls, and self-service platform experiences. 

 

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for building platform automation capabilities, standardizing developer onboarding, implementing reusable CI/CD workflows, repository governance controls, and self-service platform experiences. 

Skill Requirements

Must Have

  • Experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Developer Platforms.
  • GitHub platform and Matter toolkit, Cross plane with knowledge on IDP Backstage .
  • Go, Backstage , Cross plane, Kyverno
  • Strong experience with GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Platform Engineering.
  • Deep expertise in GitHub Actions, reusable workflows, composite actions, GitHub Apps, and repository governance.
  • Experience designing and implementing CI/CD automation solutions at scale.
  • Strong experience building reusable platform automation capabilities and engineering standards.
  • Experience implementing CODEOWNERS automation, repository templates, and governance controls.
  • Hands-on experience with Go (Golang) for platform tooling, automation frameworks, or CLI development.
    • Strong working knowledge of Helm, Helmfile, OCI registries, GHCR, ECR, and Release .
  • Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native application delivery patterns.
    • Experience Crossplane Claims, Compositions, and self-service infrastructure provisioning concepts.
  • Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDP), Golden Paths, or self-service developer experiences.
  • Experience designing developer onboarding and platform adoption frameworks.
  • Strong documentation skills including ADRs, runbooks, onboarding guides, and technical standards.
  • Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Kyverno
  • Backstage developer portal implementation experience.

Good to Have

  • Kargo fundamentals and software promotion workflows.
  • Argo CD and GitOps deployment concepts.
  • Terragrunt and Infrastructure as Code frameworks.
  • AWS OIDC integrations and cloud security controls.
  • Self-hosted GitHub Actions runners (ARC).
  • Platform Engineering transformation initiatives.
  • Developer Experience (DevEx) and engineering productivity programs.
  • Knowledge of External Secrets, and cloud-native governance controls.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale Kubernetes platforms
