• Must have:
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including system design, design patterns, clean code practices, and automated testing.
• Proven hands-on development experience in Python, building scalable and maintainable production systems.
• Experience designing and delivering cloud-native, distributed or event-driven systems and contributing to technical design decisions.
• Experience building or integrating APIs, data pipelines, workflow automation and data-intensive applications.
• Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and engineering automation, with experience using tools such as GitHub Actions or similar.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
• Knowledge of observability practices, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and production support.
• Understanding of secure software development practices and DevSecOps principles.
• Nice to have:
• Experience or knowledge of banking, lending, working capital, trade finance, commodities or financial markets will be highly regarded.
