Job Summary
To be responsible for managing technology in complex projects ,providing technical guidance and ensuring successful delivery of solutions.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and modify AutoCAD 2D drawings for boiler pressure parts such as headers, drums, water walls, superheaters, reheaters, economizers, and associated components
• Develop general arrangement (GA), fabrication, and detail drawings as per project requirements and customer standards
• Interpret P&IDs, design data sheets, and engineering specifications to produce accurate pressure part layouts.
• Ensure designs comply with ASME, IBR, EN, and relevant boiler/pressure part codes and standards.
• Support design reviews, drawing checks, and revisions based on internal and customer comments.
• Maintain drawing quality, revision control, and documentation
Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience in pressure parts or boiler design within power, energy, or heavy engineering domains.
• Strong hands on experience with AutoCAD for pressure parts detailing.
• Good understanding of boiler components and pressure part construction practices.
• Familiarity with engineering codes and standards related to pressure equipment.
Key Responsibilities
2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.
