Job Summary
- Candidate with Techno-managerial ownership of automotive embedded systems complete life cycle development complying to required process standards
Key Responsibilities
- Technical ownership of automotive embedded systems complete development complying to required process standards
- Elicit requirements for the complete system working with internal and external stakeholders, has better change control and maintains traceability of requirements in the life cycle
- Solution design of system / sub-system development, interfaces, integration, and verification strategy
- Hands-on in development and capable of trouble shooting technical issues
- Technical review expertise and guides team members towards optimal and efficient solution
- Has exposure to latest automotive trends / technologies / tools and upgrades skills proactively
- Direct customer interface for technical review and status reporting
- Generate status reports and drive status meeting with customer and delivery leadership
- Recruit, train, build and manage a team of engineers working in Auto Embedded Software Development and Testing
- Responsible to plan workload, plan resources, maintain resource utilization at org target levels, ensure good quality execution of work and deliver on time (OTD, FTQ, Utilization)
- Responsible for maintaining profitable business growth with resource identification and deployment
- Exposure working with distributed teams to meet the common objective
Support local sales team for successful customer interactions and business growth
Skill Requirements
- Automotive Experience (in two or more areas): ADAS, Power Train, Steering Systems, Brake Systems, Car Multimedia, HMI, etc
- Extensive experience in Embedded C & C++ programming (hands-on working in AUTOSAR will be an advantage)
- Extensive experience working on microcontrollers (32 bit / 64 bit)
- Experience in usage of UML, DOORS, static code analyzer and other tools (testing, simulators)
- Good interpersonal and management skills
- Good program, project management skills using a structured approach.
- Good in English – Communication and Writing Skills or professional interaction with local + global customers, HCL global network and SME’s/leads around the world
- Should have led a team of 20+ members, including performance management
