Position Summary

The Lead Maximo Consultant is responsible for leading the functional delivery of IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9) implementations from discovery through to deployment and hypercare. The role provides leadership across business process design, solution configuration, client engagement and mentoring of consulting teams while ensuring successful project outcomes.

The successful candidate will possess extensive experience delivering complex MAS 9 implementations, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into practical enterprise asset management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client workshops covering business processes and requirements.
• Drive discovery, solution design and future-state operating models.
• Lead functional streams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Configure and implement MAS 9 applications.
• Design solutions utilising Maximo Mobile.
• Define business processes aligned with asset management best practices.
• Lead fit-gap analysis and solution recommendations.
• Manage client expectations and facilitate executive presentations.
• Work closely with Solution Architects and Technical Consultants.
• Support testing, training and deployment activities.
• Mentor consultants and provide quality assurance across project deliverables.
• Identify project risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to proposal development and pre-sales activities.

Required Experience

• 12+ years IBM Maximo consulting experience.
• Multiple end-to-end IBM Maximo MAS 9 implementation projects.
