Senior Technical Manager

Job Summary

Project Manager with strong expertise in Jira administration, Agile governance, and portfolio delivery management. The role focuses on optimizing Jira platforms, driving delivery transparency, enabling effective program execution, and providing portfolio-level reporting and governance across multiple teams and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, configure, and govern Jira projects, workflows, boards, dashboards, and reporting structures.
  2. Translate business and delivery requirements into scalable Jira solutions and operating models.
  3. Manage Agile delivery processes, including backlog governance, prioritization, planning, and execution tracking.
  4. Develop executive dashboards, portfolio reports, milestone tracking, and dependency management frameworks.
  5. Establish traceability between strategic objectives, epics, features, stories, risks, issues, and delivery outcomes.
  6. Collaborate with engineering, product, business, and leadership teams to define governance standards and delivery metrics.
  7. Monitor and report on Agile performance metrics, delivery health, and program progress.
  8. Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes, tooling, reporting, and governance practices.

Skill Requirements

  1. Strong expertise in Jira administration, configuration, workflow design, and governance.
  2. Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery models.
  3. Experience creating dashboards, portfolio reporting, and delivery tracking solutions.
  4. Strong understanding of Agile metrics such as velocity, lead time, cycle time, throughput, and burn-down reporting.
  5. Experience managing risks, dependencies, milestones, and cross-team coordination.

Strong stakeholder management, planning, and communication skills

Other Requirements

  1. Experience supporting large-scale programs and portfolio management initiatives.
  2. Ability to work with senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  3. Experience in fast-paced Agile delivery environments.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
