Senior Technical Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a Commercial Banking Solution Architects to lead architecture definition and solution design for commercial banking initiatives. The role will drive end-to-end architecture across business applications, custom platforms, integrations, cloud/private cloud environments, and enterprise systems supporting commercial banking operations.

The architect will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, engineering teams, and enterprise architects to translate commercial banking requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient solution designs. This role is expected to support architecture planning, target-state definition, platform modernization, and design governance for commercial banking transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strong experience in solution architecture, application architecture, or platform architecture in banking or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of commercial banking business and technology landscapes.
  • Experience designing SaaS-based, custom application, and private cloud solutions.
  • Expertise in application architecture, API-led integration, middleware, microservices, and service-oriented design.
  • Experience in defining architecture for enterprise-grade, secure, and highly available systems.
  • Strong understanding of architecture documentation and design governance practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud and private cloud deployment models.
  • Ability to engage with both business and technical stakeholders and convert requirements into solution architecture.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Skill Requirements

  • Experience in commercial banking domains such as lending, payments, treasury, trade finance, onboarding, servicing, or cash management.
  • Exposure to cloud-native patterns, containerized deployments, and platform modernization.
  • Familiarity with security architecture, IAM integration, compliance controls, and audit requirements in banking environments.
  • Experience working with enterprise integration tools, API gateways, workflow engines, and event-based architectures.
  • Knowledge of TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks.
  • Experience supporting large transformation or modernization programs in financial services.
