Job Summary

The Senior Technical Specialist in Harness is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and delivering advanced wiring solutions for product and sustenance delivery. This role is pivotal in driving project success and innovation by leveraging industry-leading practices, providing expert guidance, and fostering skill development within the team to meet high-quality standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architect And Design Harness Solutions By Leading The Development Team, Ensuring That All Products Meet Defined Project Scopes And Quality Standards Using Cad Tools And Robust Engineering Practices.
2. Serve As A Subject Matter Expert In Harness Technology, Providing Technical Guidance And Support For Complex Projects, Ensuring The Adherence To Best Practices In The Design And Implementation Processes.
3. Stay Current With Emerging Technologies And Techniques In Harness Design, Conducting Research And Implementing Innovative Solutions That Enhance Product Quality And Performance.
4. Facilitate The Growth Of A Skilled Workforce By Conducting Interviews, Developing Training Programs, And Mentoring Team Members In Harness Design And Related Technologies.
5. Gather Detailed Specifications From Clients And Translate Them Into Effective Harness Design Solutions By Utilizing Comprehensive Knowledge Of Electrical Cabling And Schematics.
6. Drive Competency Development Initiatives By Creating Technical Collaterals, Whitepapers, And Conducting Market Trend Analysis To Support The Positioning Of Harness Solutions In The Industry.
7. Recommend And Implement Client Value Creation Initiatives By Integrating Best Practices In Harness Design And Ensuring Alignment With Industry Standards And The Specific Needs Of Clients.

Skill Requirements

1. Expert Knowledge Of Harness Design Principles, Electrical Cabling, And Schematics.
2. Proficiency In Cad Tools And 3D Routing Software For Harness Design And Modeling.
3. Strong Understanding Of Power Distribution Systems And Electro-Mechanical Packaging.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
