Job Summary
The Senior Technical Specialist will be responsible for providing expertise in devops, python, and Kubernetes. They will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining innovative technical solutions using these technologies.
8+ years’ experience in a DevOps environment
Strong familiarity with Agile methodology
Hands-on experience building deployment pipelines and automated testing environments
Strong programming and scripting experience in multiple languages such as Groovy, Python, Ruby, Bash, Shell etc. End-to-end knowledge of various web technology stacks
A passion for making everything repeatable and automated
Willingness to cross over into the app stack, treat infrastructure as code and work with SCM solutions (BitBucket, Git, Subversion, etc.)
Rich experience with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible) and software-defined networking
Deep working knowledge of serverless and container-based technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes
Expertise developing on and administrating on one or more of the major cloud computing providers preferably Google Cloud platform
A love for documentation, and a passion to leaving things better than how you found them
Expertise in systems, databases, or Networks (layer 3 and higher).
Thorough understanding of best practices related to performance, disaster recovery, security and monitoring

Key Responsibilities

3. Managing and optimizing kubernetes clusters to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of applications.
4. Collaborating with cross functional teams to integrate devops best practices and automate deployment pipelines.
5. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to devops, python, and kubernetes environments.
6. Staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in devops, python, and kubernetes to drive continuous improvement.
Skill Requirements
2. Strong programming skills in python for scripting, automation, and application development.
3. Experience in deploying and managing containerized applications using kubernetes.
4. Knowledge of infrastructure as code (iac) practices with tools like terraform or cloudformation.
5. Solid understanding of ci/cd pipelines and best practices for software delivery.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
