Job Summary

As a Senior Technical Specialist in Embedded Linux, you will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing, designing, and delivering innovative solutions for product development and sustenance. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that the solutions meet industry-leading standards and align with client requirements. By leveraging your advanced technical skills, you will contribute significantly to the project's success while fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architect And Design Embedded Linux Solutions For Product And Sustenance Delivery, Leading The Team In Implementing Best Practices And Innovative Approaches.
2. Act As A Subject Matter Expert In Embedded Linux, Providing Technical Guidance And Support To The Team And Stakeholders.
3. Stay Current With Emerging Technologies And Methodologies In Embedded Systems, Ensuring That Solutions Meet Quality Standards And Client Expectations.
4. Conduct Interviews, Facilitate Training Sessions, And Mentor Team Members To Build A Skilled Workforce Proficient In Embedded Linux And Related Technologies.
5. Gather Client Specifications And Deliver Tailored Solutions Through An In-Depth Understanding Of Embedded Systems And Linux Environments.
6. Support Competency Development By Envisioning And Articulating Propositions, Contributing To Collateral Creation, Whitepapers, And Market Trend Analyses.
7. Recommend And Implement Value Creation Initiatives For Clients By Applying Industry Best Practices In Embedded Linux, U-Boot, And Yocto Systems.

Skill Requirements

1. Advanced Proficiency In Embedded Linux Development And System Architecture.
2. Strong Understanding Of Yocto Project For Building Custom Linux Distributions.
3. In-Depth Knowledge Of Bootloaders Such As U-Boot.
4. Proficient In Board Support Package (Bsp) Development And Hardware Bring-Up Processes.
5. Familiarity With Scripting Languages (E.G., Python, Bash) For Automation And Testing.
6. Excellent Problem-Solving Skills And Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Team Environment.

Other Requirements

1. Relevant Certifications Such As Certified Embedded Systems Engineer (Cese) Or Yocto Project Certified Developer Are Optional But Valuable.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
