Job Summary

To conceptualize, design and deliver product / sustenance delivery through the team as per defined scope,by adopting industry-leading practices, thus contributing significantly to the advancement and success of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams for PLM initiatives
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain processes
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with Teamcenter capabilities
• Drive workshops, requirement elicitation sessions, and stakeholder discussions with distributed global teams
• Define and standardize engineering processes such as:
o BOM (EBOM/MBOM alignment)
o Change management (ECR/ECO/ECN)
o Configuration and release processes
• Collaborate with architects to ensure solution alignment with business processes and PLM roadmap
• Prepare and maintain functional design documents (FDD), process flows, and use cases
• Support BMIDE data modeling discussions by providing functional inputs (attributes, classifications, rules)
• Work with integration teams to define functional requirements for SAP, MES, CAD (NX), and other system integrations
• Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization in Agile delivery model
• Validate delivered functionality through functional testing, UAT coordination, and sign-offs
• Ensure traceability of requirements from business needs to implemented solutions
• Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities in current PLM processes
• Support data migration activities by defining mapping, validation, and business rules
• Assist in defining reporting, dashboards, and KPIs for engineering and operations teams
• Prepare training materials, user guides, and support business adoption of Teamcenter solutions
• Coordinate with support teams to ensure smooth transition to operations
• Ensure compliance with standards, governance processes, and change management practices
• Provide inputs for effort estimation, scope definition, and solution planning

Must-Have Skills
• Strong experience as a Business Analyst in Teamcenter / PLM implementations
• Deep understanding of engineering processes (BOM, change management, product structure)
• Experience in writing user stories, BRDs/FDDs, and process documentation
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., ADO/JIRA)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across global teams
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical context

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
