Key Responsibilities

A. Mandatory Core Skills 

Every resource is expected to have:

Production Support Foundations

• Unix/Linux knowledge
• Database skills:

• • Oracle
  • SQL

• Monitoring tools:

• • Dynatrace / Splunk (or equivalent)

Deployment & Tooling

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as:

• • Jenkins
  • GitHub
  • Chef (or equivalents)

Scripting & Automation

• At least one scripting language:

• • Shell scripting
  • Python (or equivalent)

Behavioral Expectations

• Strong ownership and accountability
• Ability to work without close supervision (no micromanagement)
• Flexibility (BizOps is not strictly time-bound)

 

B. SRE / BizOps Skillset (Core Expectation)

Across all profiles, a BizOps/SRE mindset is required:

• Handling both operations + engineering
• Ability to:

  • Troubleshoot complex issues
  • Maintain reliability

• Exposure to production environments

C. Specialized DevOps Automation Skills 

 

Must have strong DevOps capabilities:

Expected Depth

• Pipeline creation from scratch
• Automation-first mindset
• End-to-end CI/CD ownership

Typical Activities

• Building deployment pipelines
• Automating builds and releases
• Supporting initial system setup (high importance in this project phase)

 

For senior roles (L6), additional expectations include:

Technical Leadership (not managerial)

• Hands-on leadership (not people management)
