Job Summary
To be responsible for managing technology in projects and providing technical guidance / solutions for work completion in SAP Basis/SolMan, CALM
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for :
- Instance management
- Work process monitoring
- Lock management
- Analyzing and resolving dumps and system logs
- Maintaining RFC connections and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Performing workload Analysis
- Performing OS-level checks on SUSE Linux
- Checking File system and mount point issues in SUSE
- Managing SAP file systems sizes in SUSE.
- Monitoring Database health via HANA Studio / Cockpit
- Validating HANA backups and where required, recovery status
troubleshooting performance related issues in the SAP system involving -
- Long-running SQLs
- Expensive SQL statements
- Profile parameter tuning
- Table growth and index issues
- Monitoring and Optimizing Batch Jobs
Transport & ChaRM. Skills should comprise -
Where required, configure and manage TMS including
- Transport routes
- Domain controller
- Import queues and buffers
- Analyze transport failures
- Execute and troubleshoot ChaRM workflows including:
- Normal Change / Urgent Change cycles
- Retrofit conflicts and resolution
- Handle sequence conflicts, table inconsistencies, and object locks
performing patching for various SAP systems. The resource should have performed -
- Kernel Patching
- Executed client administration tasks (Local and Remote copies)
- Applied SAP Notes
- Planned and Implemented Support Package upgrades
- Organized SPAU / SPDD adjustments
- Performing Database copies / Refresh
- The candidate should have experience of performing patching in Clusters, High Availability scenarios.
