Key Responsibilities
• Direct 3D plant layout and piping design to meet process, safety, accessibility, and constructability requirements.
• Oversee supports, isometrics, MTOs; coordinate model reviews and clash resolution.
• Define routing concepts, line class usage, and maintainability/ergonomics standards.
• Drive integration between layout, stress, and materials; ensure Caesar/stress outcomes are implemented.
• Standardize specs, typical supports, and deliverable templates; manage spec breaks and special items.
• Lead model reviews (30/60/90%) with stakeholders; close issues to schedule.
• Manage and mentor piping/layout teams; plan resources and quality checks.
• Support construction queries, field change management, and as-built capture.
Minimum Qualifications
• Tools: AVEVA E3D/Navisworks, interface with stress tools; understanding of ASME B31.3.
• Experience defining and managing piping material classes with materials teams.
• Ability to coordinate multi-discipline interfaces and vendor packages.
Preferred Attributes
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in brownfield tie-ins and modularization.
• Experience with COMOS is an added advantage.
