About the Role

We are seeking an experienced PowerCurve Collections Specialist / Senior Analyst to design, develop, and optimize collections decisioning strategies within the Experian PowerCurve platform. The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in collections strategy management, decision analytics, and PowerCurve configuration, with a proven ability to improve recovery performance through data-driven decisioning and automation.

This role requires close collaboration with business, risk, operations, and technology teams to deliver effective collections strategies while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Design & Optimization

  • Design, develop, and maintain PowerCurve Collections strategies, workflows, and treatment paths.
  • Implement and optimize collections decisioning rules to improve recovery rates and reduce delinquency.
  • Develop customer segmentation and treatment strategies based on risk and behavioral characteristics.
  • Conduct strategy simulations, impact assessments, and performance testing to validate changes.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with Credit Risk, Collections Operations, IT, and Business teams to translate business requirements into PowerCurve decision logic.
  • Support implementation of strategic initiatives and process improvements.
  • Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise on PowerCurve capabilities.

System Integration & Support

  • Support integration of PowerCurve with upstream and downstream systems, including CRM platforms, data warehouses, payment gateways, and other enterprise applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system, strategy, and data-related issues affecting collections decisioning.
  • Manage strategy version control and deployment processes.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure collections strategies comply with applicable regulatory and internal policy requirements.
  • Support audit, governance, and documentation activities.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of strategy logic, processes, and configurations.

Training & Knowledge Sharing

  • Develop user documentation and training materials.
  • Conduct training sessions for business users and operational teams.
  • Promote best practices in collections strategy management and decision analytics.

Skill Requirements

Required Qualifications Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in Collections Strategy, Decision Management, Credit Risk Analytics, or related domains. At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Experian PowerCurve (Collections and/or Originations modules). Proven experience in strategy implementation, optimization, and performance monitoring. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of collections lifecycle management, customer segmentation, and treatment strategies. Strong hands-on experience in relational database design, development concepts, ability to write, analyse, and optimize complex queries. Hands-on experience in extracting and validating data for PowerCurve strategy development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation monitoring Understanding of data integration concepts, APIs, and enterprise application connectivity. Familiarity with decision management platforms and business rules engines. Knowledge of data pipelines, workflow orchestration, and batch processing frameworks Experience with Git repositories for version control, code management, collaboration, and deployment processes. Good understanding of XML and JSON data formats for system integrations, API communications, and data exchange Ability to troubleshoot data, strategy, and system issues across integrated environments. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Domain Knowledge Experience within banking, financial services, lending, or consumer finance environments preferred. Understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations related to collections and lending practices. Preferred Qualifications Experience with PowerCurve Strategy Design Studio (SDS) and/or PowerCurve Strategy Management (PSM). Knowledge of collections operations, dialer strategies, and automation platforms. Understanding of applicable regulatory frameworks, data protection regulations, and industry compliance standards governing collections and credit risk management. Experian PowerCurve certifications or formal training in decision analytics tools. Experience working in large-scale enterprise collections environments. Strong hands-on experience in relational database design, development concepts, ability to write, analyse, and optimize complex queries.
