Senior Technical Specialist – SAP IBP
Responsible for providing technical expertise in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), with a focus on solution development, integration, configuration, data management, and technical support. The role works closely with functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable IBP solutions, resolve complex technical issues, optimise system performance, and support continuous improvement across the SAP IBP landscape.

Provide technical expertise and support for SAP IBP solutions across planning processes.

Develop and maintain SAP IBP configurations, planning models, key figures, master data and integrations.

Design and support integrations between SAP IBP, SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise systems.

Analyse and resolve complex technical issues, including data, integration, planning and performance-related problems.

Monitor system performance, data flows and interfaces and proactively address potential issues.

Support technical design, development, testing, deployment and production support activities.

Work closely with functional consultants and business teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.

Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.

Ensure data quality, consistency and integrity across IBP planning processes.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, design specifications and support procedures.

Support upgrades, enhancements, patches and new SAP IBP capabilities.

Identify opportunities for automation, optimisation and continuous improvement.

Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to IBP support and development teams.
