Job Summary

Lead Java in Test (SDET) Engineer responsible for driving test automation, quality engineering practices, and testing strategy for the RMS Trade Processing platform. The role focuses on building scalable automation frameworks, ensuring end-to-end quality, and supporting the delivery of complex OTC derivatives and trade processing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based test automation frameworks.
2. Define and implement quality engineering strategies across the software development lifecycle.
3. Develop and maintain automated functional, integration, regression, API, UI, and end-to-end test suites.
4. Drive continuous improvements in testing tools, processes, environments, and quality standards.
5. Create and maintain test strategy, automation, and operational documentation.
6. Collaborate with development, business, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Support defect analysis, root cause investigation, and implementation of preventive measures

Skill Requirements

1. Strong experience in Java-based test automation (8+ years).
2. Expertise in Cucumber and modern test automation frameworks.
3. Experience building scalable automation frameworks for enterprise applications.
4. Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, design patterns, and software engineering principles.
5. Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and database testing.

Ability to design and implement comprehensive functional and non-functional test strategies

Other Requirements

1. Experience in Capital Markets, Trade Processing, or OTC Derivatives environments preferred.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
4. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
