Job Summary

Your role

As an Operations Engineer, you join a multidisciplinary, international agile squad based in Leeuwarden that develops, maintains, and operates its own systems. You contribute throughout the full lifecycle—from refining user stories to ensuring production stability and observability.

• Have experience in corporate and/or financial agile environments
• Have experience with large‑scale, high‑availability platforms (24/7, resilience, reliability)
• Perform platform operations (deployments, automation, LCM, support, risk, coding, testing, runbooks, incident/change management, observability, capacity, dependencies, service availability)
• Design reusable automation and tooling for multiple teams
• Participate in standby/on‑call rotations• Postgres application DBA experience (setup, usage, performance, monitoring, DDL, optimization)
• Linux and shell scripting (Bash / Python)
• Containerization (Docker)
• Ansible
• Azure DevOps Pipelines
• Git / GitHub / Maven
• Observability tooling (ELKaaS, Prometheus, Grafana)
