Job Summary
The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in SAP BW/Archiving, BW on HANA, SAP HANA Modeling, Data Integration, Reporting, and Analytics while working closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-performance reporting solutions.
The candidate will play a key role in data strategy, solution architecture, large-scale implementation programs, performance optimization, and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
SAP BW Solution Design & Development
Design, develop, and support SAP BW/BW on HANA solutions.
Lead end-to-end implementation, enhancement, migration, and support projects.
Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop scalable data models and reporting frameworks.
Drive data warehousing best practices and governance.
Data Modeling & ETL Development
Design and develop:
InfoObjects
Advanced DSOs (aDSOs)
Composite Providers
Open ODS Views
InfoSources
Transformations
DTPs
Process Chains
Develop and optimize ETL processes.
Perform data extraction from SAP and non-SAP systems.
Ensure data quality and integrity across reporting landscapes.
SAP HANA Modeling
Develop HANA Calculation Views and Data Models.
Optimize performance using SAP HANA capabilities.
Support BW on HANA and BW/4HANA data architectures.
Analyze and improve query performance.
Reporting & Analytics
Support reporting solutions using:
SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ)
SAP Analysis for Office
SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud)
Web Intelligence (WebI)
Power BI (Integration Exposure)
Design executive dashboards and KPI reporting solutions.
Deliver business insights through analytical reporting.
Project Leadership
Lead global implementation and rollout projects.
Mentor junior consultants and development teams.
Coordinate with business users, architects, and project stakeholders.
Participate in solution reviews and governance meetings.
Manage project deliverables and timelines.
Support & Performance Optimization
Resolve complex production issues.
Conduct root cause analysis and performance tuning.
Monitor process chains and data loads.
Ensure SLA compliance and support excellence.
