Job Summary

The SAP APO GATP Consultant is responsible for configuring, supporting, and enhancing the SAP APO Global Available-to-Promise (GATP) solution to optimize order fulfillment, product availability, and supply chain planning processes. The role involves working closely with business users, functional teams, and technical teams to deliver effective ATP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and support SAP APO GATP functionalities, including:
    • Product Availability Check (PAC)
    • Rules-Based ATP (RBATP)
    • Product Allocation (PAL)
    • Backorder Processing (BOP)
    • Capable-to-Match (CTM) and ATP integration
  • Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Design functional specifications and solution approaches.
  • Perform configuration, testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
  • Support integration between SAP APO, SAP ECC/S4HANA, SD, MM, and PP modules.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
  • Conduct unit testing, SIT, UAT, and support go-live activities.
  • Prepare functional documentation, process flows, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on enhancement and transformation projects.
  • Participate in change management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skill Requirements

Strong experience in SAP APO GATP configuration and support.Good understanding of:
  • SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
  • Supply Chain Planning processes
  • ATP checks and order fulfillment processes
Experience in integration with ECC/S4HANA systems.Knowledge of CIF, master data, and APO planning concepts.Ability to analyze complex business scenarios and provide solutions.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
