Job Summary
An SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling) professional bridges the gap between business financial needs and ERP technology. They analyze requirements, configure the SAP FI (General Ledger, AP/AR, Asset Accounting) and CO (Cost Center, Profitability Analysis) modules, and provide system troubleshooting, integration support, and end-user training.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Configuration: Map client requirements to SAP best practices and configure modules for general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset accounting.Controlling (CO) Management: Oversee cost center accounting, profit center accounting, internal orders, and product costing.Integration: Work with other SAP modules (like MM, SD, and PP) to ensure seamless data flow and resolve cross-functional issues.Testing & Support: Develop test cases, execute system testing, and provide ongoing post-implementation user support.
Skill Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or MBA (Finance).Experience: Hands-on implementation and support experience (typically ranging from 10 to 15+ years).Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance, New G/L, and integration points.
