Job Summary

SAP Integration Technical Engineer (E3.2) Location: Bangalore Role Overview Signify is amid the design, build and deployment of a global greenfield SAP S/4HANA solution. To support stable operations and continuous optimization, we are establishing a global Application Maintenance Services (AMS) organization. The SAP Integration Technical Engineer is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise integrations across SAP and non-SAP landscapes. The role focuses on SAP Integration Suite (CPI), SAP PI/PO, API Management, EDI/B2B integrations, monitoring, incident resolution, enhancement delivery, and operational excellence in a global AMS environment. The engineer will collaborate closely with Business Process Owners, Functional Teams, Infrastructure, Security, BTP, and external partners to ensure reliable and scalable integration services. Key Responsibilities Support SAP Integration Platform solutions aligned with the global S/4HANA template and regional deployment requirements. Support and maintain SAP CPI (Cloud Integration), SAP PI/PO, API Management, EDI/B2B integrations, and middleware components. Provide end-to-end AMS support including incident management, service requests, defect resolution, RCA, and continuous improvement activities. Monitor integration interfaces, message processing, API performance, communication channels, and middleware health. Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures across SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, IBP, BW, OpenText, and third-party applications. Support EDI transactions and partner integrations including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, IDoc, cXML, and API-based communications. Design, configure, and enhance integration interfaces using SAP CPI, PI/PO, REST APIs, SOAP services, IDocs, RFCs, Proxy Services, and OData services. Coordinate production deployments, transport management, release activities, and post-deployment validation. Ensure integration solutions comply with security, audit, and governance requirements. Support business-critical integration processes during month-end close, supply chain operations, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and manufacturing cycles. Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, infrastructure teams, and external vendors for issue resolution and solution delivery. Maintain technical documentation, interface catalogs, support procedures, architecture diagrams, and knowledge articles. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to modernize legacy integrations and improve platform stability. Critical Experience and Skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline. 8 to 12 years of SAP Integration experience with at least 5 years in SAP CPI and/or SAP PI/PO. Strong hands-on expertise in: SAP Integration Suite (CPI) SAP PI/PO API Management SAP BTP Integration Services EDI/B2B Integrations Experience developing and supporting: iFlows Message Mapping Groovy Scripting XSLT Mapping REST APIs SOAP Web Services OData Services IDocs RFC Interfaces Proxies Strong knowledge of EDI standards: ANSI X12 EDIFACT XML cXML Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC with: Ariba SuccessFactors Concur IBP BW/BI OpenText Third-party applications Experience working in a global AMS or production support environment. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Experience with monitoring tools, interface alerting, and operational support processes. Understanding of SAP BTP, API security, certificates, authentication mechanisms, and integration architecture. Knowledge of CI/CD deployment practices and transport management processes is desirable. 5. To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology.
6. To support competency development with envisioning and articulating propositions – building collaterals/ whitepaper creation, market trend analysis etc.
7. To recommend client value creation initiatives and implement industry best practices (on specific technology/product)
