Job Summary

Job Title: SAP S/4HANA Business Data Cloud (BDC) / Datasphere Consultant
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Business Data Cloud (BDC) and Datasphere Consultant to design, build, and deploy enterprise data and analytics architectures across SAP and non-SAP environments. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in SAP Datasphere, SAP BDC, data modeling, hyperscaler integrations, and analytics enablement to deliver business-ready data assets for AI and enterprise reporting.
Key Responsibilities
· Data Architecture & Modeling: Design end-to-end data architectures across SAP Datasphere, SAP BDC, and SAC. Develop reusable semantic models, SQL views, analytical views, and consumption layers using OLAP dimensional modeling best practices.
· System Integration: Ingest data from SAP sources (S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba) and non-SAP systems. Implement outbound integrations to hyperscaler data lakes (Azure, AWS S3, BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake) using Cloud Connector and DP Agent.
· Pipeline Management & Orchestration: Build and manage data replication flows, ETL/ELT pipelines, task chains, virtualization, and scheduling.
· Analytics Enablement: Support SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) dashboarding, live/acquired models, and embedded KPI frameworks.
· Governance & Operations: Implement row-level security (DAC), data lineage, lifecycle transport management across DEV/TEST/PROD, and support DataOps CI/CD pipelines. Ensure compliance with SOX and GDPR.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
· Experience: 5+ years in SAP Data & Analytics with 2+ years specifically in SAP Datasphere / Data Warehouse Cloud.
· Core Skills: Hands-on SAP Datasphere and BDC experience; SAP S/4HANA data structures, CDS views, and ODP extractors; SQL modeling and SAP BTP services; exposure to SAC.
· Preferred / Nice to Have: ABAP CDS/AMDP SQL scripting; SAP BW/4HANA to DWC/Datasphere migration; integration with Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, or GCP; SAP certifications.
· Soft Skills: Problem-solving ability, client escalation handling, and strong communication across onshore-offshore models.
