Job Summary
focuses on configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP’s plant maintenance and asset lifecycle tools (historically known as SAP PM, now integrated deeply into SAP S/4HANA Asset Management)
Key Responsibilities
• Solution Design & Configuration: Configure SAP EAM/PM components including Functional Locations, Equipment Master data, Maintenance Notifications, Maintenance Orders, and Task Lists.
• Maintenance Planning: Set up preventive, predictive, and breakdown/corrective maintenance plans, calibration management, and refurbishment processes.
• Workshops & Requirements Gathering: Lead fit-gap analysis and requirement workshops with plant managers, reliability engineers, and maintenance stakeholders.
• Integration & Cross-Module Support: Ensure seamless data flow between SAP EAM and related modules like Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), Finance/Controlling (FI/CO), and Plant Systems (PS).
• Testing & Deployment: Execute Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data migration validation, and cutover activities.
Skill Requirements
• Experience: Typically ranges from10 to 12+ years of hands-on functional/technical experience in SAP PM/EAM.
• Platform Knowledge: Strong proficiency in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Asset Management.
• Functional Expertise:
• Master data management (Equipment, Functional Locations, Bills of Materials - BOMs).
• Order and notification lifecycles (creation, release, technical completion TECO, and business closure CLSD).
• Measuring points, counters, and work centers.
