Job Summary
An Oracle Technical Consultant in a Support Role helps clients fix, maintain, and optimize Oracle database or cloud applications
Key Responsibilities
An Oracle support technical consultant resolves system bugs, handles production support tickets, and builds custom reports or integrations. They ensure day-to-day system stability and performance
Troubleshooting: Fix complex technical errors, application failures, and data issues reported by users.
Maintenance & Enhancements: Update custom code, workflows, interfaces, and reports (like BI Publisher).
Ticket Management: Follow IT service management rules to handle incidents, problems, and routine requests on time.
Testing: Test code fixes and patches before putting them into live production systems.
Collaboration: Talk with functional teams and clients to understand problems and explain technical solutions
Skill Requirements
Technical Tools: Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and reporting tools like BI Publisher.
Platform Experience: Experience with Oracle Cloud (Fusion)
Integration Knowledge: Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or Web Services.
Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking to find fast, safe fixes for broken processes.
