Job Summary
Lead the development of system requirements, interface control documents (ICDs), and system architecture for Avionics systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, mechanical, and certification engineers.Support ARP-4754, and DO-178/DO-254 development processes as applicable to Avionics systems.Participate in flight test planning, data analysis, and troubleshooting of avionics systems.Prepare and review certification documentation, compliance matrices, and test reports.
Key Responsibilities
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in System Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.8+ years of experience in avionics systems engineering, or prior relevant experienceStrong knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), and requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS).Experience with embedded systems, real-time software, and hardware/software integration.Familiarity with ARP-4754, MIL-STD, ARINC, and RTCA standards.Experience with system validation, system integration, lab testing, and flight test support.
