Senior Test Lead - Accessibility Testing and Python

Job Summary

Expertise in Java, Selenium, Cucumber BDD, API Testing, and DevOps Tools

Experience: 6-8 years

Location: Bengaluru

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber BDD frameworks.
  • Implement and execute API automation tests using Postman, Swagger, and RestAssured.
  • Perform database validation and write complex SQL queries on Oracle 8i/12c environments.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Github, Bitbucket, and Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  • Track and manage defects using industry-standard bug tracking tools.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of test strategies and frameworks.
  • Document test cases, procedures, and results to ensure comprehensive test coverage and traceability.

Skill Requirements

  • Programming Languages & Web Technologies: Proficiency in Java, Selenium, Cucumber BDD, and Python, robot framework
  • API Testing: Strong experience with Postman, Swagger, and automation using Rest Assured framework.
  • Database: Hands-on expertise in Oracle and advanced SQL scripting.
  • Development & Bug Tracking Tools: Proficient in Jenkins, Github, Bitbucket, and Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  • Operating Systems: Working knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
