Job Summary
The candidate will be responsible for OTA issue investigation, vehicle communication analysis, diagnostics, testing, and validation activities.
The role requires strong expertise in CAN/CAN FD, Automotive Ethernet, DoIP, UDS diagnostics, CAPL programming, and test case development/execution.
The engineer will independently perform root cause analysis and support OTA software deployment validation.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze OTA update failures and software deployment issues.
Perform root cause analysis using CAN/CAN FD and Automotive Ethernet trace logs.
Investigate communication issues involving UDS and DoIP protocols.
Develop, review, and execute test cases based on requirements and OTA use cases.
Validate OTA software installation, flashing, rollback, and recovery scenarios.
Perform Functional, Integration, System, and Regression Testing.
Capture and analyze traces using CANoe, CANalyzer, and Wireshark.
Develop CAPL scripts for diagnostics, simulation, and automation.
Analyze test results and identify defects.Log, track, and verify defects through closure.
Prepare test reports, validation reports, and defect analysis documentation.
Collaborate with development, integration, and validation teams to resolve issues.
Support vehicle-level and ECU-level OTA validation activities.
Mandatory Skills
Automotive Domain
Strong understanding of Automotive E/E Architecture.Experience in OTA software update validation and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of ECU communication, diagnostics, and software flashing processes.Understanding of Connected Vehicle ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities
2. Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases for automotive hil testing and embedded systems.
3. Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify and resolve defects in embedded software and systems.
4. Conduct performance testing, regression testing, and system integration testing for automotive applications.
5. Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks for efficient testing processes.
6. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members in the testing team.
