Job Summary

The Senior Test Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability for embedded software in compliance with DO 178B guidelines. This position involves developing comprehensive test plans that align with project objectives and collaborating with stakeholders to define testing scope, goals, and deliverables. The Senior Test Lead will leverage their expertise to enhance testing methodologies, mentor team members, and drive process improvements, ultimately contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Participate In Functional And Technical Discussions With Stakeholders To Gather And Clarify Functional And Design Specifications, Ensuring Test Environments And Infrastructure Are Maintained And Up To Date For Effective Testing Of Embedded Software.
2. Identify Opportunities For Process Improvement In Testing Methodologies And Tools, Implementing Best Practices To Enhance The Efficiency And Effectiveness Of The Testing Process Under The Do 178B Framework.
3. Oversee The Creation And Execution Of Automated Test Scripts Using Industry-Standard Tools, Ensuring Alignment With Quality Standards And Minimizing Exposure To Defects In Embedded Software Products.
4. Develop And Mentor Qa Engineers In The Application Of The Testing Framework And Methodologies, Enhancing Their Technical Capabilities And Contributing To Increased Team Productivity.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong Understanding Of Do 178B Standards And Their Application In Embedded Software Testing.
2. Proficiency In Functional Testing Methodologies And Tools Relevant To Embedded Systems.
3. Experience With Automated Testing Frameworks And Scripting Languages Relevant To Embedded Software.
4. Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills With The Ability To Drive Improvements In Testing Processes.
5. Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams.

Other Requirements

1. Recommended Certifications: Certified Software Quality Engineer (Csqe) Or Similar Quality Assurance Certifications Relevant To Embedded Software Testing.
