Job Summary
The Senior Test Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through the development of comprehensive test plans. This position collaborates closely with project stakeholders to define testing scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with project requirements and strategic objectives. The Senior Test Lead is responsible for enhancing testing methodologies and driving best practices that significantly improve testing efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
2. Identify Opportunities For Process Improvement In Testing Methodologies And Tools, Implementing Best Practices In Functional Testing To Enhance Both Efficiency And Effectiveness Across Projects.
3. Oversee The Creation And Execution Of Functional Test Cases And Automated Test Scripts Using Selenium And Junit, Ensuring Adherence To Quality Standards And Minimizing The Risk Of Defects In Production.
4. Develop And Mentor Qa Engineers In The Use Of The Testing Framework And Best Practices In Functional Testing, Enhancing Their Technical Capabilities And Increasing Team Productivity.
Skill Requirements
2. Proficiency In Using Test Management Tools Like Jira And Automated Testing Tools Such As Selenium.
3. In-Depth Knowledge Of Software Development Life Cycle (Sdlc) And Quality Assurance Processes.
4. Excellent Skills In Mentoring And Guiding Team Members To Improve Their Technical Skills.
Other Requirements
1. Optional But Valuable Certifications Include Istqb Certified Tester (Advanced Level) And Certified Software Test Professional (Cstp).
Experience : 3-4 years with Server validation skill.
JD FOR HW TEST ENGINEER
1. Test units and test environment build-up.
2. Execute related Test cases, fill the test result in the test tool, on time deliver test progress on.
3. Submit defects in the Lenovo bug system, issue status tracing and verification.
4. Participate in the defect discussion with the developer owner and provide the necessary support to clarify the defect with the developer defect owner.
Test Areas:
1) AVL – CPU / Memory / PCIe / onboard Video & GPGPU / TPM & TCM / Legacy Ports / USB
2) Storage - SAN / SAS Controllers / Storage Peripherals / Ethernet / RDMA
3) Stress – Cycling Test / System Stress
Have more than 2 years of experience in server or storage-related testing.
1. Familiar with server hardware and FW such as CPU, Memory, BIOS/UEFI, BMC, PSU, MB, etc.
2. Familiar with the installation of OS such as Windows, Linux, and VMware
3. Familiar testing server NIC manufacturers, speeds, interfaces, basic NIC functionalities (PXE, WOL, etc.), and advanced NIC functionalities (SRIOV, VXLAN, etc.)
4. Familiar with server SATA/SAS HDD/SSD, NVMe SSD, RAID
5. Familiar with setting up and configuring environments for servers with SAS/FC/FCoE/iSCSI SAN, HOST discovery, LUN mapping, MPIO software installation and configuration, etc.
6. Familiar with InfiniBand and Omni-Path
7. Familiar with GPU testing and related test tool, and GPU Cert.
8. Good communication in both verbal and written English and teamwork player.
