Role Overview
Responsible for planning, designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests for SAP applications using Micro Focus LoadRunner to ensure system stability, scalability, and optimal performance under expected and peak loads.
Technical Skills –
• Strong experience with LoadRunner (VuGen, Controller, Analysis).
• Hands-on experience testing SAP applications (ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori, SAP Web GUI).
• Knowledge of SAP architecture and SAP Basis concepts.
• Proficiency in scripting (C, JavaScript) for LoadRunner.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools (SAP Solution Manager, DB tools, OS monitoring).
• Understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration or performance validation.
• Knowledge of database performance tuning (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Relevant certifications in LoadRunner or SAP would be added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop performance test scripts using LoadRunner for SAP technologies (SAP GUI, Web, Fiori, SAP Portal, SAP S/4HANA).
• Identify business-critical SAP transactions and define workload models, load profiles, and performance scenarios.
• Execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests for SAP systems.
• Monitor system performance during test execution using LoadRunner Analysis, SAP Solution Manager, and system monitoring tools.
• Analyze test results to identify bottlenecks at application, database, network, or infrastructure levels.
• Collaborate with SAP functional, Basis, ABAP, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot performance issues.
• Tune scripts using correlation, parameterization, and checkpoints.
• Prepare performance test plans, execution reports, and recommendations.
• Support performance validation for SAP upgrades, migrations, patches, and go-live readiness.
Ensure compliance with performance SLAs and non-functional requirements
