Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineer to provide advanced technical support for large-scale, mission-critical communications networks. In this role, you will help ensure the reliability, performance, and continuous operation of complex IMS, Mobility, Optical, IP Core, VoLTE, Cloud based, and advanced communication platforms. You will serve as a technical resource for complex fault isolation, service restoration, lifecycle support, implementation readiness, event management, and operational improvement across a 24x7 network environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and technical support for complex network, platform, and service issues across IMS, Mobility, Optical, IP Core, SIP/IP, Unix/Linux, Cloud, VoLTE, FirstNet, and related technologies.
  • Monitor alarms, KPIs, dashboards, logs, traces, and system performance to identify service-impacting conditions and drive timely resolution.
  • Incident response, fault isolation, service restoration, escalation management, root cause analysis, and post-incident improvement activities.
  • Coordinate with Network Engineering, Operations, vendors, Tier 3 support, DevOps teams, business partners, and customer-facing organizations to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Support software, hardware, application, configuration, and network lifecycle activities, including testing, deployment validation, maintenance support, and new service introduction.
  • Analyze trends, recurring issues, and operational gaps to recommend improvements that strengthen network reliability, service assurance, automation, and operational efficiency.

Skill Requirements

  • 7+ years of related technical experience supporting telecommunications, network operations, core network, service assurance, or advanced technology platforms.
  • Strong understanding of IP networking, SIP signaling, IMS, VoLTE, mobility core, optical transport, cloud/network virtualization, or related communications technologies.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex production issues using alarms, logs, traces, packet captures, performance metrics, and monitoring tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure operational environments, including service-impacting incidents, escalations, and time-sensitive restoration activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner across engineering, operations, vendor, and business teams to drive resolution of complex technical problems.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues, risks, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Other Requirements

  • This is an individual contributor role with significant technical ownership and influence.
  • The role may require participation in 24x7 support coverage, incident bridges, maintenance windows, on-call rotations, or after-hours escalation support based on business needs.
  • The position requires strong judgment, ownership, collaboration, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced network operations environment.
  • Work may involve supporting compliance with applicable environmental, safety, and operational requirements related to network infrastructure and field-supported assets.
Maximum Salary (US):  148000
Minimum Salary (US):  78000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
