Job Summary
SAP Test Process Engineer to establish, improve, and maintain high-quality test processes, standards, and governance across the SAP testing lifecycle. The role ensures consistent, efficient, and compliant testing practices across SAP modules and supports end‑to‑end test readiness.
The position requires strong SAP testing methodology knowledge, experience with test governance frameworks, and the ability to collaborate with global teams to standardize and enhance testing quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and continuously improve SAP test processes and governance
- Develop and maintain standardized test templates, documentation conventions, and reporting frameworks
- Ensure consistent test execution practices across modules and teams
- Support end‑to‑end testing activities by ensuring process readiness and alignment
- Implement and track KPIs, quality gates, and test performance metrics
- Conduct periodic process reviews, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions
- Support test data governance and readiness processes
- Partner with Test Analysts and Automation Engineers to establish automated testing
- Align testing processes with enterprise policies and audit requirements
- Facilitate the onboarding and process integration of test management and automation tools
Skill Requirements
- > 5 years of SAP testing and process experience
- Strong understanding of SAP testing methodologies, governance models, and best practices
- Experience in designing and rolling out test frameworks in global delivery environments
- Strong analytical and documentation skills, with attention to process quality
- Hands-on experience in regression testing, scenario design, and test documentation
- Ability to understand end-to-end processes and break them into structured test cases
- Very good written and spoken English skills; German language skills are an advantage
- Experience in agile and classical project delivery models
- Knowledge and initial experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban or Azure DevOps
- Good communication skills and ability to work with global teams
- Team player with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and disciplines
