Senior Test Lead

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IBM Sterling OMS Functional QA professional with strong knowledge of Order Management business processes and client-facing experience. The candidate should have hands-on experience in testing Sterling OMS applications, validating end-to-end order lifecycle flows, coordinating with business stakeholders, and driving QA activities across multiple releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand business requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data for IBM Sterling OMS applications.
  • Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and UAT testing.
  • Validate end-to-end Order Lifecycle flows including Order Capture, Sourcing, Inventory Management, Fulfillment, Shipment, Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations.
  • Conduct testing across OMS integrations such as WMS, ERP, Ecommerce, Payment, Tax, and Carrier systems.
  • Analyze requirements and identify test coverage for new enhancements and production fixes.
  • Perform API validation and backend data verification as required.
  • Track defects, participate in defect triage calls, and work with development teams for resolution.
  • Work closely with client business users, product owners, and project stakeholders during requirement discussions and testing cycles.
  • Provide regular status updates, testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to client and leadership teams.
  • Support release validation, production smoke testing, and hypercare activities.
  • Mentor junior QA team members and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
