Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Scrum Master with a strong testing background to lead Agile teams and ensure successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of hands-on Scrum Master experience and 6 years of prior experience in Software Testing/Quality Assurance. The candidate will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, driving team productivity, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Scrum Master Responsibilities

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions.
Coach and mentor Agile teams on Scrum principles, Agile best practices, and continuous improvement.
Work closely with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
Track sprint progress, velocity, burndown metrics, and team performance.
Identify and remove impediments that impact team delivery.
Foster collaboration between development, testing, product management, and stakeholders.
Drive Agile maturity across teams and promote servant leadership.
Ensure adherence to Agile governance and reporting requirements.
Facilitate risk identification, mitigation planning, and dependency management.
Support release planning and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Testing & Quality Assurance Responsibilities

Leverage prior testing experience to promote quality-first development practices.
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive test planning and execution.
Support test strategy, defect management, and release readiness activities.
Drive and lead automation testing and continuous testing practices.
Ensure quality metrics are monitored and continuously improved.

Skill Requirements

Required Skills

Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing Scrum artifacts.
Expertise in Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar Agile tools.
Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and STLC.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience in risk management, dependency tracking, and conflict resolution.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.
Ability to work with globally distributed teams.

Technical Experience

6+ years of hands-on Software Testing experience.
Experience in Functional, Integration, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing.
Experience in Test Automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines, Selenium with C#
Understanding of quality metrics, defect lifecycle management, and release management.

Other Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe Scrum Master certification.
Experience working in enterprise Agile environments.
Exposure to DevOps practices and Agile Release Management.
Experience inTest Automation tools such as Selenium with C#, Playwright.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
