Job Summary
- QA Automation Engineer with strong Playwright expertise and solid manual testing experience (No. of resource: 3)
- Exposure to AI-driven tools and applications with 5+ years of experience. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and end-to-end test scripts using Playwright, while also executing manual test scenarios where automation is not applicable. Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements, define test strategies, and ensure high-quality releases. The role involves creating and executing test cases, performing functional, regression, and exploratory testing, and identifying, tracking, and validating defects. Additionally, validate AI-powered features by testing outputs for accuracy, reliability, edge cases, and safety aspects such as hallucinations or inconsistent responses. Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, analyze test results, and continuously improve test coverage and performance. As a quality owner, expected to balance automation and manual testing, leverage AI tools to accelerate testing processes, and ensure that both the application and AI-driven functionalities meet business expectations and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. To participate in functional as well as technical discussions with the client /team to understand functional /design specifications ,highlight performance concerns, inconsistencies ,ensure the appropriate test environments and infrastructures are in place/kept upto date.
2. To Identify opportunities for process improvement in testing methodologies /tools and Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
3. To oversee the creation and execution of automated test scripts ensuring consistency and alignment with quality standards to minimize exposure.
4. To develop/guide and mentor QA engineers in the use of the testing framework , enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
