Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automation Tester with expertise in Playwright and/or Tricentis TOSCA to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure the delivery of high-quality software applications. This role requires strong experience in test automation frameworks, functional testing, regression testing, and integration with CI/CD pipelines. The candidate will work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and QA teams to enhance testing efficiency and software quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and/or TOSCA.
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs to create effective test strategies and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Build reusable automation components and test frameworks to improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Identify, log, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with development and business teams to ensure quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Generate test reports, dashboards, and quality metrics for stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and quality standards.
Skill Requirements
Must-Have Skills
- 3+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework using JavaScript/TypeScript or C#.
- Experience in Tricentis TOSCA test automation tool.
- Strong understanding of test automation concepts, frameworks, and best practices.
- Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End Testing.
- Knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, or similar.
- Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to Performance Testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of database testing and SQL queries.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of Test Data Management and Service Virtualization.
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), Healthcare, or Retail domains.
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
- TOSCA Automation Specialist certification or equivalent.
